Cannafox is a young brand. The people helping us make our products aren’t.
Ella Baché began in Paris in 1936, founded by cosmetic chemist Ella Baché herself. Almost twenty years later, in 1954, the brand arrived in Australia, where it has continued to develop and make skincare for generations.
That depth of experience matters to us.
When you’re making products designed to become part of someone’s everyday care — whether that’s a face cream after a day outside or a botanical cream for a dog’s paws — experience, expertise and consistency matter.
So we chose a partner with plenty of all three.
The people behind the products.
Every Cannafox cream is formulated with Ray Townsend, an Australian cosmetic scientist with 35 years of experience in formulation and product development.
Over his career, Ray has formulated for and consulted with brands including Coty, Helena Rubinstein, Ultraceuticals and Ella Baché.
He’s the person who turns our ideas about ingredients, texture and everyday use into formulations that work together as they should.
And he’s involved across the range — from Active Recovery, Face Cream and Body Care to our Botanical Paw & Skin Cream for dogs.

Our creams are made and bottled at Ella Baché’s Sydney GMP-approved facility, under the same experienced team and manufacturing standards.
That gives Cannafox something we value enormously: a direct connection between the people who formulate our products and the people who make them.
It’s a relationship built on expertise, not just a name on a label.
Why it matters.
We don’t think good skincare needs to be complicated. But we do think it deserves to be considered. The right ingredients. The right formulation. The right people behind it. And the care to make sure it all comes together properly.
