Like all good origin stories, Cannafox was born from a personal quest. 

After suffering injuries in a car crash during his youth, Carl Fox set to find a natural solution to deal with his pain and recovery—one that didn’t come with the harsh side effects of painkillers and opioids. That journey led him to hemp. Foxy’s knowledge is one of Cannafox’s core pillars. He puts the "Fox" in Cannafox—but not until much later.

Enter Jack Macartney – a world-class sailor with an appetite for bold ideas. 

When Foxy pitched the idea of a hemp business, Jack was busy running the high-adrenaline SuperFoiler Grand Prix. But life has a way of charting new courses, and when the foiling boats were packed away, Jack found himself at a crossroads. Would he set sail again? Or take a leap into something new? He chose both. A two-time Sydney to Hobart winner, Jack thrives on pushing boundaries, and hemp became his next great frontier.

Together, Foxy the alchemist, Jack the adventurer, and now Quach—the scientist behind the magic - set out to make Cannafox a reality. Add in Shlomi, our master of all trades with a beautiful piece of land in Byron’s Hinterland - we had a farm, a license, and a team with a dream.

It hasn’t been smooth sailing. From catastrophic floods to the daily grind of building something from the ground up, we’ve faced it all. But with teamwork, the support of key believers, we’re here to bring Australian hemp to the forefront of wellness.
